Activiteiten op Bonaire
Voor duikers en snorkelaars zijn er veel
mogelijkheden. Er zijn vele locaties waar men zo
vanaf de kant het water in kan lopen. Het rif ligt op
10-50 meter van de kant. Men heeft dan echter
wel een auto nodig, die op Bonaire volop te huur
zijn. Ook zijn er (indien men een auto huurt)
meerdere goede duikscholen om les te nemen of
de nodige duik- of snorkelspullen te huren.
Behalve een kantduik is het ook mogelijk (bij
duikscholen) een bootduik te maken of een
snorkel trip o.a. naar Klein, het kleine zuster-
eiland van Bonaire gelegen voor de westkust, dat
eveneens beroemd is vanwege zijn zeer mooie
onderwaterwereld.
Andere activiteiten zijn wind- en kitesurfen,
kanoën en snorkelen in de mangrovebossen aan
de oostkust, met een gids verkennen van enkele
van de vele grotten op bonaire. Ook is een
bezoek aan het natuurpark Washington Slagbaai
zeer de moeite waard.
